River Season & Grading:
- September – December: Grading 4 (Approx. 300 Cumecs)
- January – May: Grading 4- (Approx. 200 Cumecs)
- June – August: Grading 4+ (Approx. 450 Cumecs)
During the monsoon months, Trishuli offers continuous rapids and pleasant calm water mixed together, ensuring a perfect adventure for those seeking both challenge and enjoyment.
One Day Rafting Itinerary
• Departure: Drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara for approximately 4 hours to reach the rafting starting point at Charaudi Red House (81 km from Kathmandu).
• Rafting Highlights: Your rafting adventure will include thrilling class 2 and 3 rapids such as “LADIES DELIGHT”, “UPSET”, and “SURPRISE”. After hitting these exciting rapids, you will stop for a brief rest.
• Lunch: Enjoy a scenic lunch at Kurintar before continuing your journey.
• Return: After your rafting adventure, you’ll be driven back to Pokhara, Chitwan, or Kathmandu, depending on your next destination.
Safety is our top priority, and we take great care to ensure that you have a secure and enjoyable rafting experience. Our professional guides, instructors, and safety kayakers are certified in water rescue, first aid, and Rescue 3 WRT training. All equipment used is world-class, regularly updated, and maintained for your safety.
To further minimize risk, we ensure:
- Safety Kayakers or double catamaran teams are used on every trip.
- Strict safety rules: Life jackets and helmets must be worn at all times in/on the river. No drugs, alcohol, assault, or diving off cliffs during the adventure.
- All guides speak fluent English to ensure clear communication during your adventure.
- Swimsuit and quick-drying clothes
- Sport sandals
- Warm clothing and a waterproof jacket (especially during colder months)
- Sunglasses, cap, and warm hat (for colder months)
- Sunscreen and lip balm
- Personal toiletries and medications
- Flashlight, water bottle, and a camera
