Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal.  It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative / guide and driver from our office – Aroma Nepal Treks,  will welcome you with a warm smile at the airport. Then, we will drive you to hotel by private vehicle. Our company representative will do all hotel check in process into your designated hotel.  After check in at Hotel, as per your comfortable time we will be briefed about your daily activities.

Kathmandu: Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal lies 1400 meters from sea level. This valley is an incredibly diverse, historic city with amazing architecture, exquisite wood carvings and metal craft which showcase the skills of the Newar artisans of centuries ago. Hinduism and Buddhism have co-existed in Kathmandu valley from time immemorial and the valley residents make little distinction as they worship in both Hindu and Buddhist shrines. Kathmandu is a city where ancient traditions are zealously guarded while at the same time embracing modern technology. The grandeur of the past enchants the visitor whose gaze may linger on an exquisitely carved wooden window frame, an 18th century bronze sculpture or a spiritually uplifting stupa. Kathmandu, the largest city of Nepal, is the political as well as cultural capital of the country, where Nepalis have arrived from all corners of the country and assimilated.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Pokhara – Sightseeing – B After you take your breakfast, take a scenic flight to Pokhara for 25 min. Arrival in Pokhara airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon Pokhara valley sightseeing including Devi’s Fall, Gupteshowar Mahadev Cave, Tibetan village (including Tibetan Buddhist monastery), Bindabasini Temple, Fewa lake along with one hours boat ride, some free time at Lakeside and transfer to hotel. Evening Short trek briefing.

Pokhara: Pokhara is Nepal’s number one adventure and leisure destination, a gateway to treks in the Annapurna region with plenty of entertainment for individual travelers and their families.  Pokhara will overwhelm you with its natural beauty and great photo ops. Walk along the shores of the Fewa Lake, enjoy the greenery surrounding you and gaze at the spectacular panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks of the Annapurna Massif. Pokhara is also known as the capital tourism city in Nepal lies 830 meters from sea level. This natural beauty city Pokhara is completely surrounding by hills and mountains where you will get very closed with Himalayas views of Annapurna 8091meters, Dhaulagiri 8167 meters & Manaslu 8163 meters and many other peaks.

Day 03: Pokhara – Kasheri – Tham- Thulaswara – Chitepani –  1100 meters 3-4 hrs B. L . D :  Drive from Lakeside to Kaseri, Bijayapur river (8.5 km). Trek Start from Bijayapur river  (960 meters) first trek up to Lankachher village. Further hike to beautiful gurung village  – Thulaswara and further hike to Chitepani and overnight at Annapurna Nature Camp. Arrival at Camp, Check in your private tent and lunch. After Lunch visit the village / Jungle (Good option for nature walk and bird watching). Dinner at camp. After Dinner local entertainments (Local- Singing and Dancing program) by mother groups from Chitepani village.

Total Duration of Hiking: 4.5 km (3-4 hrs), Total Duration of Drive: 8.5 km (30 min)

View from the Annapurna Nature Camp: Annapurna South (7219 meters), Himchhuli (6441 meters), Annapurna I (8091 meters), Fishtail (6997 meters), Annapurna III (7555 meters), Annapurna IV (7525 meters), Annapurna II (7937 meters), Lamjung Himal (6920 meters).  Madi river George, hills and Jungles.

Day 04: Chitepani – Madi valley – Yangjakot –  1550 meters 4 hrs B. L . D  After your breakfast, trek start to Madi valley where you will stop for Lunch and after lunch gentle up trek to Yangjakot 1550 meters.  Yangjakot is a big gurung village on top of the north hill from Pokhara. After reaching Yangjakot if time permitted, you can visit Kotdanda side trip as well. Dinner and overnight stay in Yangjakot community home stay.

Day 05: Yangjakot – Tangting 1450m,  4-5 hrs –B. L. D.

Optional: Early morning Sunrise view from Thumdanda  and back to Yangjakot for breakfast.

Breakfast at Yangjakot and start trek to Soti Khola and stop for local lunch there. After Lunch trek to Tangting  village and overnight stay at home stay.

Day 06:  Tangtang – Siklesh 2000 meters 4 hrs – B. L.D  Breakfast at Tangting and start gentle trek first 45 min than trek down to Madi River. After crossing the Madi river trek up to Siklesh. Lunch will be at Siklesh, after lunch visit local village. Dinner and over night at Siklesh in guest house / Home stay.

Day 07: Siklesh – Chasu –  Pokhara – B.L. After breakfast gentle trek start from Siklesh to Parche for 1 hrs and from Parche trek down to Chasu for another 3 hours where you will stop for Lunch and afer Lunch drive back to Pokhara. Late afternoon 30 minute foot massage at Lakeside. Evening Short briefing for river rafting.

Day 08: Pokhara – Kathmandu – B. L  After breakfast in Hotel, Check out and start your road journey to Kathamndu. First drive 3 hrs from Pokhara to Fishling where you will join for white water river rafting. Total rafting duration will be about 2-3 hrs on Trisuli river (Grade 2-3 +). After Rafting have a river lunch than start your drive journey to Kathmandu for another 3 hours. Arrival in Kathmandu hotel and overnight stay.

Day 09: Kathmandu Sightseeing – B. Breakfast in Hotel and after breakfast start your Kathmandu sightseeing program including Pashupatinath – the open cremation ground for Hindus, Buddhanath (the biggest Buddhist stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Shyambhunath Buddhist temple (the monkey temple) After comfortable sightseeing – afternoon free time at Thamel Street. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Final Departure – B. We ensure that you will leave Kathmandu with cherishing memory and an experience of a lifetime. Our representative from Aroma Nepal Treks will drive you to the airport in time for your flight back home. Journey well!

  • Nepal’s roads are narrow so It is prone to traffic jams. The road is long. It is recommended that you prepare the U-shaped pillows and other decompression equipment in advance.

Climate: The mountains in northern Nepal are cold all year round, the climate in the central mountains and valleys is mild, the principle of southern flats is hot all year round, and the rainy season is from June to September each year. The average maximum and minimum temperatures of the capital throughout the year are as follows (unit: Celsius)

People from Israel can get on arrival visa for Nepal. Please follow these simple procedures for Tourist Visa on Arrival at the Kathmandu airport (TIA)  if you have not acquired Visa prior to boarding the plane.

  • 1st  Step
    • Fill in ‘ Arrival Card ‘
    • Fill in Online ‘Tourist Visa ‘form ( you can fill it up  prior to your arrival  visiting our official website  Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport).  If you fill it from the website, you will get submission Receipt with barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after.  If so, you will have to fill it up again.
  • 2nd  Step
    • Make payment  at the bank according to your visa requirement ( 15/30/90 Days)
    • Get the receipt

While you can use different modes of payments (at visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

During this tour l, you should have to better equip. so is a suggested list with perhaps the minimum necessary for your tour/ trek., some Equipment you can buy in Kathmandu and Pokhara if you don’t have but sometime it is hard to find large shoe sizes. You can store extra gear at hotel or in our office in Kathmandu or Pokhara.

HELPFUL HINTS for travelers.
If you are traveling in Nepal, these hints will be helpful for your safe journey or travel.

  1. It is best not to travel alone. If you have an accident, no one will be there to get help!
    2. Become informed about any sickness on time to your guide.
    3. Carry a good medicine kit.
    4. Carry out what you are carries in.
    5. Don’t disturb wildlife.
    6. Don’t hurt or remove animals and plants.
    7. Respect the local people and those cultures.
    8. “Namaste” is the universal greeting and parting gesture.
    9. Temples, monastery, Mani walls, Chortens etc should be pass on the clockwise. Remember not to point with a single finger but use a flat extended hand especially to indicate a sacred object or place.
    10. Ask permission before taking pictures of people or religious sites.
    11. Don’t buy any items of religious or historical items while trekking/ tours. Such items are considered to be cultural monuments and are never sold legally!
    12. Remove your shoes when entering a home, temple or monastery ( and leather items in Hindu temples ) and avoid smoking and wearing a scant dress in religious settings. Don’t smoke in public area.
    13. Nepalese currency is the Nepalese Rupee(NPR). You can exchange the currency at the airport or travel agency. Nepalese currency fluctuates with USD  / Euro / British Pound almost every day, so it is better you check these exchange rates early on the tour or take suggestion with your guide.
