Trip Overview:
Nepal, home to the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest, and the birthplace of Lord Buddha, is a land of immense natural beauty, diverse cultures, and adventure. This trek will allow you to witness the contrasts between the urban vibrancies of Kathmandu and the tranquil, rustic beauty of rural Nepal. The program also emphasizes community-based tourism, offering the chance to stay in traditional homestays, supporting local communities and promoting sustainable travel.

Itirenary

• Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.

• Brief introduction to the trip.

• Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 min).

• Afternoon sightseeing in Pokhara, including Devi’s Fall, Gupteshowar Mahadev Cave, Tibetan village, Bindabasini Temple, and a boat ride on Fewa Lake.

• Drive to Kaseri and trek to Chitepani (1,100 meters).

• Explore the village and enjoy nature walks, bird watching, and local cultural entertainment at the Annapurna Nature Camp (Tented accommodation in the nature).

• Trek through Madi Valley and up to Yangjakot (1,550 meters).

• Stay in a local Gurung village homestay with scenic views of Annapurna and surrounding peaks.

• Trek to Tangting (1,450 meters), passing through Soti Khola.

• Stay overnight in a homestay with views of Annapurna II and Lumjung Himal.

• Trek to Siklesh (2,000 meters) via Madi River.

• Stay in a homestay, enjoying local village visits and views of the Annapurna Range.

• Trek to Chasu, enjoy lunch, and drive back to Pokhara.

• Enjoy a relaxing foot massage in Pokhara’s Lakeside area.

• Drive to Fishling for white-water rafting (2-3 hours on Trisuli River).

• Lunch by the river, then continue the drive to Kathmandu.

1. It is best not to trek alone. If you have an accident, no one will be there to get help!
2. Become informed about high altitude sickness.
3. Carry a good medicine kit.
4. Time your trek generously, taking rest while trekking is not a sign of weakness.
5. Carry out what you are carries in.
6. Don’t disturb wildlife.
7. Don’t hurt or remove animals and plants.
8. Respect the local people and those cultures.
9. While walking on trails, stand on the inside of the trail if any animal comes past you to ensure that you don’t get forced off the path.
10. “Namaste” is the universal greeting and parting gesture.
11. Temples, Mani walls, Chortens etc should be pass on the clockwise.
12. Ask permission before taking pictures of people or religious sites.
13. Don’t buy any items of religious or historical items while trekking. Such items are considered to be cultural monuments and are never sold legally!
14. The weight porters are allowed to carry in tea house trekking is 15-20 kg. max.
