Route:  KTM – Gorkha – Samaghau – Manaslu Trekking – Larkya Peak

              Larkya Peak is a very satisfying peak to climb in combination with the Manaslu Circuit Trek. It offers fairly easy climbing with fabulous views of Manaslu, the Annpurnas, Ganesh Himal and beyond. There is often confusion however about which peak it is and groups are often lead up a steep line to a subsidiary peak known as Sano (small) Larkya (5,807 m). Base camp is close to the Larkya La, a pass of 5,135 m. Sano Larkya Peak can be climbed in a long day from this base camp. However, to climb Thulo (big) Larkya (6,216 m), a high camp is needed. Reaching this true Larkya Peak is a long but easy climb on snow slopes that are slightly less steep than Sano Larkya Peak. The best option for climbers is to make a high camp and then complete both peaks.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu-Gorkha-Kalikasthan (1210m)
Day 04: Kalikasthan-Gairichap (1420m, 6h)
Day 05: Gairichap-Thala (2215m, 6h)
Day 06: Thala-Dharche pass (3245m)-Shambe (2930m, 6h)
Day 07: Shambe-Laprak (2200m, 3h)
Day 08: Laprak-Khorla Besi (1200m, 6h)
Day 09: Khorla Besi-Jagat (1300m, 6h)
Day 10: Jagat-Pewa (1900m, 6h)
Day 11: Nyak Besi-Ghap (2400m, 5h)
Day 12: Ghap-Sho (2700m, 5h)
Day 13: Sho-Sama Gaun (3400m, 5h)
Day 14: Sama Gaun- Samdo (3800m, 4h)
Day 15: Acclimatization
Day 16: Samdo-Larke Glacier (Dharamshala 4400m, 4h)
Day 16-20: Climbing for Larkya Peak Period
Day 21: Larke Glacier-Bhimtang (3800m, 8h)
Day 22: Bhimtang-Tilije (2300m, 7h)
Day 23: Tilije-Jagat (1300m, 7h)
Day 24: Jagat – Bhulbhule (800m, 7h)
Day 25: Drive from Bhulbhule-Besisahar-Pokhara.
Day 26: Free Day in Pokhara
Day 27: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 28: Fly back to home
